The stamp commemorates the XXI Monaco Grand Prix, which held the prestigious honorary title of the 1963 European Grand Prix.
The 1963 European Grand Prix (held on May 26, 1963) was won by legendary British driver Graham Hill driving his BRM P57. It was the first of his five famous victories at Monaco, earning him the nickname "Mr. Monaco" / "King of Monaco."
